NetSuite for retail
Stores, online shop and warehouse share the same inventory and the same customers: deliver a consistent shopping experience across every channel.

6 NetSuite solutionsfor retail
Your challenges
Unified commerce, online and in store
Your customers order online, pick up in store and sometimes return the item to another location. When the point of sale, online store, warehouse and accounting run on separate systems, each of these journeys means rekeying and creates inventory discrepancies.
NetSuite brings together on a single platform the inventory of all your stores, orders, customers and finances. SuiteVise helps you connect your existing tools or replace them, depending on what serves your business best.
Industry challenges
The management challenges of retailers
Scattered inventory
Across stores, warehouse and online shop, the lack of a unified inventory causes stockouts, overstock and sales you cannot fulfill.
Omnichannel journeys
In-store pickup, ship-from-store, cross-channel returns: every journey must be tracked end to end.
Large assortments
Sizes, colors and collections multiply the items to create, replenish and clear.
A fragmented customer view
Online and in-store purchases sit in different files, and customer relationships suffer.

How we help
How SuiteVise supports retailers
We start from your customer journeys: how your customers buy, pick up and return products. Each journey becomes a precise NetSuite flow, tested with your store, logistics and finance teams.
We then integrate NetSuite with your point of sale, online store and logistics partners, and prepare the migration of items, inventory and customers. See also our e-commerce and inventory management expertise.

FAQ
NetSuite for retail: your questions
Does NetSuite offer a point-of-sale solution?
Yes. Oracle NetSuite offers its own point-of-sale application, NetSuite POS, and NetSuite also connects to third-party POS systems. The right choice depends on the number of stores, existing hardware and how you work in store: we help you compare the options.
Can we offer in-store pickup?
Yes. An online order can be assigned to a store for pickup: the store’s inventory is reserved and the order follows a dedicated fulfillment flow.
How do we manage items in several sizes and colors?
With matrix items: a parent item carries the options (size, color…) and NetSuite creates the variants. Inventory, prices and sales can then be tracked by variant or in aggregate.
